Well you know, people wouldn't be complaining of having been hacked in one form or another (even those with auths) if there wasn't actually an issue. I'm not advocating panic and drama, i'm just saying that ignoring threads and paying customers who experience very real discomfort, under categories like "you had it coming" and "who knows if the issue is even real?!", it isn't really fair.

Although I am a bit unsettled by your ready acceptance that the lack of any "official confirmation" must in fact be an acknowledgement that there IS no issue at all. This is like blindly believing that this year's harvest was rich and plentiful when the news on the TV tells you so, instead of going out to the fields and seeing the very poor harvest for yourself.

One sure example would be the Hakkar blood plague which was made possible by clever hunters who got their pets debuffed and dismissed, then resummoned them in IF AH. ಠ_ಠ

Then there was Gutrot who max leveled using only his fists as weapons and bare skin for armor.

The spontaneous lines which formed recently for the buggy quest NPCs on the beta could be another example.

I think a definite someone who rose higher in game knowledge than anyone else in his time was Dopefish and the Noggaholic crew, known for Mysterious WoW, Noggaholic the Movie and Exploration the Movie, these exploration videos broke through virtually every restriction Blizzard used to hide and make content inaccessible in-game. Dopefish revealed areas years before they made it into live WoW (Hyjal, Emerald Dream, Outland, Kara Crypt, to name a few). The Last Wallwalk was the final brave show of the explorer community, a day before wallwalking was 'fixed' servers-wide.

It's not a magic moment when you hit your final 85 on your main realm.. I don't think you should look forward to it like this. When you log in and only see 85's it's kind of disheartening too, believe me. In no time at all you find yourself questioning just why the hell are you playing anyway?

This might sound weird, but check your cable connection if you have one. With cable, the wires tire out after a year or two, they get tiny microscopic fractions in the metal of the wire, and somehow these aren't bad enough to disrupt the flow of your network but they can cause enough of a packet loss for a game to DC, believing your connection has failed.

So, if you get a new LAN cable for your PC your DC's might stop as well, as mine did. Then again it's probably something completely different, just thought I'd mention it.
