How I stay cool on hot days by pizzatacosin fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu

I have a glass of sea water right here. The part with the water is 100% pure water, it just happens to be interspersed with another part that's 100% pure filth.

What did school teach you that was blatantly false once you researched it on the Internet? by peetssin AskReddit

my ToK essay on whether or not machines can "know". gah.

That actually sounds like a really interesting topic. However, I've noticed that TOK seems to reduce a class that's supposed to be about teaching critical thinking and whatnot to just another class that you take for marks. At least, that's how I've noticed a lot of students approach the subject. This missed opportunity for so many people brings a tear to my eye ಥ_ಥ

TIL Limewire is Being Sued For More Money Than Exists In The World - 75 Trillion Dollars by kubabubbain todayilearned

[–]aldld 0 points1 point ago

Even then there are still countably infinitely many elements in the set {million, billion, trillion, etc...}.

Of course, you don't have to follow standard naming conventions. You can name your numbers whatever the hell you want.

TIL Limewire is Being Sued For More Money Than Exists In The World - 75 Trillion Dollars by kubabubbain todayilearned

[–]aldld 0 points1 point ago

Not necessarily. There can be (countably, for the sake of simplicity) infinitely many and still follow a set naming pattern which does not encompass every possible sequence of letters. Just say 1 = "a", 2 = "aa", 3 = "aaa", and so on... but if you name a number "b" then it still won't refer to any natural number.

Then again, you could perhaps take the numerical representation of a number and map sequences of digits to letters of the alphabet, which would (I believe) generate every possible string.
