It's not a fact of being lazy. Sometimes you just don't have the resources to cover all platforms equally. We don't on the game I'm working on. But yes, you should complain. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't have a controller as backup, imo.

This is true. Although I think winning the gold medal just went to show that you need good TEAM defence not just good goaltending. In the Olympics, he wasn't that spectacular. He was good though, but his team was better in front of him. That's what lots of part-time Canuck supporters don't get. It's like they depended on him to be their saviour.

That's exactly it. I live in Vancouver and there are so many people who just jump down his throat. I'd want out of Vancouver if I were him as well. He needs a place where he can fly under the media radar. Or maybe a place where he feels he isn't 'the guy' to win the cup for his team.

I think art has its place in a library. Whether or not it's 'cheap' should be under the discretion of the librarian or caretaker. They should decide if it's appropriate, not you or I.

I hate this excuse. MMOs should be fun the moment I pick it up. I shouldn't have to 'wait' to get to level 'x' before it gets fun. The only MMO I've tried where I felt awesome at level 1 was SWTOR. But then the novelty quickly wears off and you realise it's the same as most other MMOs out there.

Granted, this is just me (and coming from someone who hasn't been able to enjoy MMOs for more than a couple months).

What makes you think it's a terrible engine? There's been many bad games made on the Unreal 3 Engine too, but no one says it's bad. It's an unproven middleware engine, yes, but that doesn't mean it's bad because SWTOR used it.

Not necessarily. When devs buy a middleware engine, usually they can customize it to fit their needs. If 100 v. 100 is a priority, then they can make it happen.

That sounds good in theory. But when you have bigger businesses muscling the smaller ones out of the market, like we've seen in the US, then you have a problem. Once the smaller guys are out, they can drive up prices when they control the market. The only thing that matters is money. And large corporations will do anything to control their market. They will spend lots to make that happen.

There needs to be a mechanism to prevent corruption.

I'm sure many things like that were said about other late round picks. These types of players are hard to predict. I wouldn't count him out yet. But if he does make it, it'll be at least 4-5 years before he plays in the NHL.
