I like this match up quite a bit. A bit less one sided if you ask me. Still not enough to keep me interested in 147 though.

Pretty crap list IMO but if there is one thing I'm glad to see there it's the JDS/Werdum KO. I can't stress enough how much I adore that. Uppercuts are incredibly difficult for me (because my footwork is shit) and to see such a beautifully executed technique like that gives me something to learn from and aspire to.

I'm really happy to see Mirko competing again but I dunno he definitely didn't look too sharp in this fight. I don't think he'll make it to the further portions of this GP. I really hope he doesn't fight Ghita next, my god he's looking absolutely monstrous.

I don't like Uriah's chances against Barao. For a guy who's supposed to be primarily a grappler (and he's an incredible one at that, the way he jumped on Pickett was just inhuman) he's got such an impressive and deadly striking game. I'd assume he'd take the Aldo route and turn Uriah's legs into hamburger meat.

Pretty great fights. Glad to see Cro cop fighting again, though I dunno he looked a little out of shape. Hari didn't look as sharp as expected but he still did well considering he's been gone from the sport for some time. Ghita looks MONSTROUS as always. Definitely think the best fight was Harut Grigorian vs. Murthel Groenhart though. Great pace and an amazing finish.

Doesn't quite feel like a K-1 GP without Schiavello and the awesome super slow mo cam though.

This fight is the main reason I'm watching the undercard. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of good looking fights on it, but Barboza just continues to wow me. Can't wait to see what he can do.

With a 5-3 record? Absolutely not. Sure he's a talented and gifted wrestler and athlete, and yes his name recognition did a lot to help the sport along, but come on that record is pretty bad and he could never get used to getting hit in the face.

I sincerely hope this means Adult Swim is serious about having saturday be the anime block again. Not this bullshit midnight to 4am thing they have now where they only show 2 new shows and a bunch of other stuff we've seen time and time again. I hope this starts at 9 or 10 and that we see new stuff.

This is a great opportunity for them to show a whole new range of shows. I'd love to see some classics like Big-O , Gundam 0080, 0083 and 08th MS Team. But I'd also really like to see some newer stuff. Funimation has done an amazing job with their dubs as of late and some stuff they offer on Netflix would be a great fit.

Soul Eater is the first thing that comes to my mind as a must show. It's a lot of fun, its fucking gorgeous (because BONES means BUSINESS) and it's a SOLID dub.But I also think Darker than Black (and the sequel to it) would be great too.

Baccano! would also be really great to see. As would Gurren Lagaan.

But I'd really love to see newer stuff that I haven't seen before. I would hope that this creates more interest and that we get more good dubs. It's a shame really, dubs are better now than they have ever been in terms of talent, but there aren't that much being done, especially with more current stuff.

That said I doubt I'll actually watch it. Although this is really great news, thanks to Netflix and the internet I don't really watch broadcast T.V. anymore and TBH I've lost interest in adultswim. I dunno about a year or so ago I just kind of felt that they are up their own ass and they haven't really produced anything that really grabs me. That and commercials have become increasingly more asinine and unbearable.

I dunno if I'd go that far. Kaufman is primarily a wrestler and although she's really tough I can't help but feel she's gonna end up playing Rhonda's game and walk into a sub. I really don't think anyone is a striker on the level of Santos in women's MMA to be honest. She has plenty of time to prepare though and hopefully she is with a good camp that will work on her flaws. But I don't think it will be enough.

Sucks to see him take the loss so hard, but he has nothing to be ashamed of. He put on one of the best fights of the year and was on his way to winning that fight.

If she can make the cut comfortably without the aid of PED's she's basically gonna turn Rhonda's face into hamburger meat. Her stand up game is really bad and she keeps her chin up for the world to see and that is not the kind of thing you want to leave open for someone as powerful and as skilled as Santos.

I look forward to her coming back because she's all kinds of exciting.
